St. Patrick’s Day is a mega event, not just for the Irish. Millions of people around the world gather on March 17 to celebrate Irish culture and the wearing of the green.

The biggest St. Patrick’s Day parade has always taken place in New York. In fact it featured in a musical written back in 1940. The song “It’s a great day for the Irish” from that musical went on to become a global St. Patrick’s Day anthem. It was performed by a famous American actress with Irish roots. We’d like you to tell us the name of that Hollywood star.
